Family Guy: Four More Years

Family Guy, the funny-as-hell animated series, is guaranteed to be on air until at least 2012, after creator Seth MacFarlane inked a long term mega-bucks deal with studio 20th Century Fox.

As well as new Family Guy gags, there will be new episodes of American Dad, a new spinoff The Cleveland Story AND a new movie.

While, this is fantastic news, it does beg the question of when and how MacFarlane plans to develop and produce the 50 short web episodes he promised Google.

Last year, MacFarlane sealed a deal with indie producer Media Rights Capital and Google to launch a series of original shorts using Google’s AdSense platform.

But the Fox deal looks like it puts the kibosh to this.

  1. 4 more years of fun!

  2. Lets hope Mr. MacFarlane doesn’t get worn out from producing 4 shows at once.
